Is Kool-Aid® a Good Solution for Horses and Livestock?

Before Show FresH2O™ hit the market a common gimmick was to add kids drinks (Kool-Aid, lemonade, orange soda, etc) to water to help get animals to drink on the road. The idea is that a flavor aid masks the bad taste of chlorinated water.

Does this really work?  Maybe a little bit…but the fact that everyone tries a different cocktail is good evidence that none of them work very well.

There’s good reason that Kool-Aid is not reliable in helping to keep your animal drinking on the road. It DOES NOT ELIMINATE CHLORINE like Show FresH2O™.

Not only does chlorine taste and smell bad, but it can also have potential negative effects on your animal’s gut health. This can lead to all kinds of health problems. Kool-Aid can’t help you with that, but Show FresH2O™ will eliminate that risk.

Even when assuming that Kool-Aid works, it would cost about twice as much as Show FresH2O™ when used as directed. An 8 oz bottle of Show FresH2O™ costs $19.99 and treats about 75 gallons. That’s about $0.25/gallon for Show FresH2O. When using Kool-Aid as directed it costs about $0.50/gallon before adding sugar…and you’re paying for something that mostly does not work.

Want the best for your animal at the most affordable price?  Use Show FresH2O™.  Designed specifically for horses and livestock, not kids!
