Hi I'm a farmer from Cumbria in England iv had awful problems with chlorine coming on to the farm via the water supply we average 1ppm all the time we also believe it's contaminated the land and coming back in with the silage we are very intense we grow grass for fun here 20tons an acre easily we believe with cow water consumption we been putting 5kg per acre of chlorine back on the land which is alarming we had to stop using mains water and are unable to get a deep well as only salt water beneath us so we using natural water flowing through the fields and pump it back to the farm, we have unbelievable digestion efficiency for ten years or so is there any way to neutralise the chlorine in the silage as we chopping it?
